Taking it from the top...
What is the difference between a "Bare Boat" or "Demise" charter and
the type of charter experience we offer on ShipsAhoy!?
It's simply the difference between renting a car or hiring a limo.
When you hire ShipsAhoy! you get to decide where she goes (within reason),
but you don't have to worry about the driving, or anything else.
And you don't own the "Limo" so... you are not responsible if something happens to it.
As long as you return the limo in the same condition as it was when you rented it,
you can just sit back and enjoy the ride.
In a "Bare Boat" or "Demise" charter situation,
all responsibility is on you, (fees, licenses, certifications, and insurance, etc.)
as you take on temporary ownership of that vessel.
We don't do that.
CHARTER CLASSIFICATION FOR SHIPSAHOY!:
A USCG REGISTERED "Uninspected Passenger Vessel"
An "uninspected" vessel does not mean the vessel has not been inspected.
This term refers to the requirements that must be met in order to carry up to 12 guests
as a vessel which weighs over 100 tons.
