A Door of Hope... on the water!
ShipsAhoy! has worked with several charitable organizations as a live auction item at Benefits and Gala's according to the hearts of her owners.
Our favorite organization to work with is A Door of Hope foster ministry which provides loving Christian foster homes that are also able to help children, and their struggling parents, understand who Jesus is and how they can have a personal relationship with him. This organization works to actually restore families (if possible) while ministering to the needs of these sweet kids.
A VERY popular auction item at their annual Gala is a 3.5 hour "Captain's Table Sunset Dinner Cruise" aboard ShipsAhoy! with a professional chef who prepares a fabulous multi-course, paired wine meal for eight guests. The generous contribution of our guests enables A Door of Hope to train, equip, and certify one (or maybe even two!) new Christian foster home(s). We are so grateful to have partnered with Chef Alex Rodriguez and Chef Tommy Musarra in the past, and are extremely excited to welcome aboard Chef Cheryl this year!
This year at the Gala, we will be auctioning off TWO "Captain's Table Sunset Dinner Cruises" and ONE 6 hour Drop Anchor Day at Egmont Key featuring the use of our Water Toys, including our new Super Slide and our Sea-Sidewalk! Get your tickets for the Gala now!
